Many people want to learn to garden, but don’t know what to do or where to start.  A qualified landscape consultant can answer your questions, help you avoid mistakes, and get you through any problems that may arise.

There are countless books on gardening full of information and advice, but finding the right answer can take hours. A landscape consultant comes to your yard and gives you the answers you need right away, has practical advice to finish your project, and is happy to answer all of your questions.

Services

• Site analysis including general quality of the landscape and planting recommendations

• Soil analysis including soil quality, fertility level, ph, and suggested amendments

• Diagnosis of landscape plant problems, including disease, insect damage, cultural and environmental deficiencies

• Identification of landscape plants and weeds

• Lawn examination including thatch check, grass type, weed identification, insect and disease diagnosis, fertilizer recommendations and care tips

• Diagnosis of vegetable plants, fruit trees, berries, and herb gardens

• Recommend appropriate solutions for plant problems, including cultural care, chemical pesticides and organic alternatives

• Advice on pruning, shaping and rejuvenating trees and shrubs

• Advice on water gardens including ponds, pond plants and maintenance

• Solutions for garden problems caused by deer, rabbits, raccoons, skunks and other wildlife

• Recommend plantings and accessories to create a habitat friendly to birds, butterflies and wildlife

Fees

$50 for the first half-hour (half-hour minimum).

$25 for each additional half-hour or portion thereof.

Time starts at your door.
